The President of the University of Fallujah Participates in an Advanced Training Course on the Internationalization of Higher Education in the United Kingdom
Prof. Dr. Ahmed Suleiman Hamad, the esteemed President of the University of Fallujah, participated—alongside a high-level ministerial delegation that included a number of presidents of Iraqi universities—in the advanced training course on the internationalization of higher education. The course was organized by Cardiff Metropolitan University in the United Kingdom, in coordination with the Iraqi Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
The five-day course covers key themes aimed at formulating a comprehensive vision for the internationalization of higher education in Iraq. These include establishing international academic partnerships, faculty and student exchange programs, and the development of academic curricula in line with global standards and advancements.
During his participation, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Suleiman Hamad affirmed the University of Fallujah’s continuous commitment to enhancing its presence in the global academic landscape and actively engaging in modernization and academic development initiatives in alignment with institutional quality and accreditation standards. He also emphasized the importance of leveraging leading international experiences to improve higher education in Iraq.
This course is part of a national program to build the capacities of Iraqi universities in the field of internationalization, with the goal of enhancing the efficiency of higher education institutions in Iraq and raising their performance levels to meet international standards.
