University of Fallujah Team Shines in the Iraqi Universities Beach Volleyball Championship
Under the guidance of the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Suleiman Hamad, the University of Fallujah participated in the Iraqi Universities Beach Volleyball Championship, which commenced on April 20, 2025, and will continue until April 24, 2025.
The championship was held under the patronage of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, and supervised by the Student Activities Department of the Supervision and Scientific Evaluation Authority. It was hosted by the university in cooperation with the University of Anbar and Al-Maarif University College, taking place at the sports courts of the Tourist City in Habbaniyah.
The championship witnessed wide participation from various Iraqi universities. The University of Fallujah made a notable appearance through its team, which competed in a group that included Ashur University, Uruk University, and Al-Salam University College.
The University of Fallujah team started its campaign in the championship with strength, securing a well-deserved victory over Ashur University with a score of two sets to none, reflecting the exceptional performance and high level of its players.
This distinguished participation comes as part of the University of Fallujah’s strong commitment to enhancing diverse student activities, whether athletic or cultural, aiming to support young talents and provide them with opportunities to represent the university in the best possible way at both the national and international levels.
