University of Fallujah Discusses First Master's Theses for International Students under the "Study in Iraq" Program
The College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Fallujah held the discussion of the first master's theses for international students admitted through the "Study in Iraq" program. The session was attended by the esteemed President of the University of Fallujah, Professor Dr. Ahmed Suleiman Hamad, and the University’s Assistant President for Scientific Affairs, Professor Dr. Nahla Naji Hilal.
In his remarks, the University President expressed his great pleasure in attending the thesis discussion session, praising the efforts exerted by the student and the discussion committee in accomplishing the thesis.
His Excellency pointed out that the "Study in Iraq" initiative represents a pioneering and significant achievement realized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research under the patronage and supervision of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education, Dr. Naim Al-Aboudi. He affirmed the University of Fallujah’s commitment to providing a stimulating and attractive educational environment for international students, aiming to ensure the success of this initiative and encourage more students to enroll at the university.
The thesis, submitted by student Karam Mohammed Mustafa under the supervision of Professor Dr. Mahmoud Shamsuddin Abdul Ameer, was entitled: "Ethical Objectives in Islamic Jurisprudence – The Objective of Justice as a Model."
The thesis discussion committee was chaired by Professor Dr. Mohammed Jasim Abdul, and included Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Abdul Aziz Awad and Assistant Professor Dr. Mahmoud Khalaf Hammadi as members.
It is noteworthy that the "Study in Iraq" program is one of the initiatives reflecting the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research’s interest in education and its dissemination, providing educational opportunities for learners, and attracting international students from various countries with the aim of enhancing the position of Iraqi universities in international rankings and creating a unique academic experience.
