On, Tuesday, August 27, 2024, the Department of Legal Affairs at the Presidency of the University of Fallujah, in cooperation with the Center for Continuing Education, organized a workshop entitled “Methods for Promoting a Culture of Integrity to Reduce Administrative Corruption,” with the participation of a number of university teachers and employees.
The workshop aimed to enhance the values of integrity and combat corruption, which constitutes a major obstacle to development and progress, and has a negative impact that extends to all aspects of life.
The workshop, in which the Director of the Legal Affairs Department lectured, included, millimeter. Muthanna Fayez Abd, presented several main topics, including introducing the basic concepts of anti-corruption, and the importance of enhancing integrity in state institutions.
The workshop also witnessed an in-depth discussion on the causes of the spread of corruption, the role of employees in combating it, and methods of reporting it, in addition to reviewing the list of job conduct and indicators that constitute its practice at work as part of administrative and financial corruption, with an explanation of the legal penalties resulting from committing these crimes.
