Department of International Relations

 The Department was founded on July 1, 2015.

   Duties:

  1. Liaise with embassies and cultural attaches to obtain academic support.
  2. As an AArU member, the UF liaise with the Association of Arab Universities AArU for student, academic and professional exchange programs.
  3. Remain in touch with the activities of international scientific centers to obtain student scholarships and fellowships.
  4. Sign MoUs for academic and cultural cooperation with some Arab, international universities and research centers.
  5. Follow up on outbound graduate students studying overseas.

  2. Translation and Verifications.

   Signed agreements with Arab and foreign universities:

  • MoU with Bangor University, UK.

 Signed cooperation agreements with Iraqi public and private universities:

  • MoU with Anbar University.
  • MoU with Diyala University.
  • MoU with Al-Qalam University College.
  • MoU with Al-Huda Private University College.
  • MoU with Wasit University.
  • MoU with Al-Middle Technical College.
  • MoU with Middle East Private University College.
  • MoU with Al-Mashriq Private University.
  • MoU with the Ministry of Industry, Industrial Research and Development Department.


 Other Cooperation Initiatives:

  1. Collaboration with the IREX organization for academic and research development.
  2. Secure collaboration opportunities with New York University and the University of Pennsylvania.
  3. Collaboration with the Iraqi Association of Iraqi Public Administration.
  4. Collaboration with Al-Noor Center.
  5. Collaboration with the Rafidain Peace Organization.
  6. Activation of the Academic Visitor Program.
